Smuget, Oslo
February 5th, 2001

Kevin played Smuget last night. This was a closed event for musicians and people in the music business. The show was short (45 min.) since this wasn't meant to be an ordinary concert. On his encore "Fear Nothing" he got this critical audience to sing along on the chorus.

On this event Kevin played solo, but on the rest of the tour in Norway Tore Andersen, who is a well respected artist and musician on his own (he was the first European country artist to be played at CMT), will do the Pettibone part. Kevin and Tore have known each other for one and a half years and I am sure they will find each other in the music as well. Tuesday they spent the time working on the songs Kevin will play in Halden. I'll be there! Will you?

Klokkeboden, Baerum
February 9th, 2001

For unspeakable(!) reasons I didn't go to Halden. So Klokkeboden was the next venue. It was filled with drunk and crazy people ready to party. Kevin who perhaps is more used to people who wants to listen to his songs seemed to have a lot of fun. As I did. Tore played some of his own songs in between Kevin's songs. They also accompanied each other and filled in with vocal harmonies. The venue is intimate and a great place to party!

Lundetangen, Skien
February 11th, 2001

Lundetangen was the place to be this night. Kevin and Tore were in good shape and started out with an audience who actually sat down and listened. They gave a well deserved attention to each and every song. Half way through the show Kevin invited three guys to join them on the stage. These guys had heard Kevin on Smuget and called him to ask if they could do anything together. So Kevin asked them to come down to Skien and see what happened. In the next few seconds the set changed into a band. Erland Dahlen on drums, Kjetil Dalland on bass and Bjoern Charles Dreyer on guitar did their backing job almost without any rehearsal. The audience were thrilled with this addition and it really worked out fine. This was in my opinion the best show on the tour so far. Kevin and Tore were happy with the response and new friendships were made. Steffen, who runs the place, has something going on here. A great night! Thanx.
