Kevin Montgomery and Doug Pettibone have been working together for a long time. The CD "Another Long Story" is also a result of this where Doug plays guitar and do background vocals. Doug also plays guitar on Paint.

Last year Kevin met Robert Reynolds and this is what happened in Kevin's own words:

- The connection with Robert started when i played a Buddy Holly tribute show at Billy Block's Showcase at the Exit/Inn here in Nashville. Kim Richey was dueting with me, and Robert was the musical director for the band. A few weeks later we got together for coffee, and Robert asked me if i'd like to do a band project with he and Paul, and of course i said yes. Things started happening for my record in the UK, and the tour in support of my project came about as sort of a way to get to know one another as a band.

Robert Reynolds, bass, and Paul Deakin, drums, are well known from The Mavericks, the band they formed together with Raul Malo. You will find more info about it here. On the above mentioned tour to England Pat Buchanan played guitars since Doug couldn't come along. He was commited to another job at the time. Pat is also playing guitars on the CD. Jerry Dale McFadden, who is known from long time collaboration with The Mavericks, Swag together with Robert, and other bands as well as a solo artist, plays keyboard on the album. Trisha Yearwood, well known country singer, sings harmony on "Tennessee Girl".

For now, the CD is only available at the venues Paint plays during the tour. Hopefully the 4-track CD will evolve into a fullblown CD in time. So far I have heard three of the tracks only from a tape in my car picking Kevin up at the airport back in the freezing February when he visited Norway. That was great, of course, but it was so cold that I couldn't relax enough to enjoy the moment. My only comment was - hey man, that was great! I almost couldn't talk, for crying out loud, so I am really looking forward to listen to the final result.
